Enabling Services: Introduction to Study Skills - Part A: The Assignment Brief In-Person
Designed for students with a specific learning difficulty such as Dyslexia, this workshop will introduce essay-writing skills. Topics covered will include tips for breaking down the title and understanding the task, as well as strategies for planning and structuring your essay. There will be opportunities to discuss your own experience or queries. If you are about to undertake your first assignment or need to understand the feedback on an assignment to try to improve future marks, then this workshop can help you.
This is part of a series of small group workshops, aimed at students with a specific learning difficulty, such as Dyslexia. Students may choose to attend Parts A, B and C, however there is no requirement to attend all three sessions.
