Writing the Dissertation: the Literature Review In-Person

Please note that this session is for undergraduates working on their dissertation, or extended project. The Library will be running sessions in the summer focusing on the postgraduate dissertation.

This workshop provides guidance on structuring and developing a literature review chapter, or section, for an undergraduate dissertation, or extended project. The session briefly covers the main conventions of a literature review, before focusing on different structural approaches and techniques to help you synthesise literature.
