UKRI Open Access Policy Townhall Online
The new UKRI Open Access Policy affects journal articles submitted for publication from 1 April 2022. Steven Vidovic, Head of Open Research and Publication Practice in the Library will explain the rationale of the policy and highlight key points. Changes from the current policy will be outlined and there will be time for your questions.
Why should you attend? After the session you will be confident you can ensure your journal articles acknowledging UKRI grants fulfil the policy criteria. You will understand the routes for publishing either in a fully open access journal, using one of the University publisher agreements, or via self-archiving in our institutional repository with no embargo period.
